Cucumber Cilantro Margarita

I had high hopes for this recipe. Maybe it was because it was from Alton Brown or maybe just because it sounded good. Unfortunately, it didn’t pan out as I had hoped. It wasn’t bad tasting but the overwhelming flavor was tequila. Not cucumber. Not cilantro. Not even orange juice or lime juice. Just plain old tequila.

If you are going to go through the effort of making the cucumber cilantro syrup, it would be nice to taste it. You may have to play with the quantities to get it right but I would say that the amount of tequila needs to be reduced.
