First things first, I know that the pie in the picture is in cups not a bag. But you make it in a bag. And, it’s maybe not quite “pie” as it is a pumpkin pudding.
My six year old brought this recipe home from school back around thanksgiving and we finally had the chance to make. I think it turned out pretty well. It is fairly easy to put together and definitely is kid friendly to put together.
You will need –
1 gallon zip lock bag
2 2/3 cups cold milk
2 packages instant vanilla pudding
1 can solid packed pumpkin
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
Graham cracker crumbs (1/4 cup per serving cup)
Combine milk and pudding in zip lock bag. Remove air and seal. Squeeze and knead (carefully) with hands for one minute.
Add pumpkin, cinnamon and ginger. Remove air and seal bag. Squeeze and knead (carefully) with hands for two minutes or until blended very well.
Place 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs in the bottom of the cups. Cut a corner off of the zip lock bag. Carefully squeeze into the portion cups.
Top with whipped topping.
