After making the spiced pecans, I got a complaint that someone was expecting a nice snack and they were too spicy. So I quickly pulled the pan out again and made these.
They turned out good but there was too much sauce. I used the same recipe as the spiced pecans but left out the cayenne and doubled the cinnamon. It worked just fine but the bag of almonds I had was only 12 oz. and it called for a full pound of nuts. As a result, there is extra “sauce” that is in there, sticking to everything. These didn’t break apart quite as nice as the others did but they still taste good.
