This was something floating around on Facebook as a “guilt free” dessert. (Probably as its greek yogurt and they used “all natural” stuff – which i didnt). It sounded interesting so I thought I might try it.
It didn’t turn out so well. You really need to make sure it is all blended or you might hit a spot of yogurt that isn’t mixed in which doesn’t taste right compared to everything else. Speaking of the taste, it didn’t taste all that great to begin with. And neither of my kids liked it and they like all the ingredients by themselves.
It might have needed more peanut butter. And chocolate. But, then it takes away from the overall idea. Bottom line, try it if you like but if you don’t like it, don’t say I didn’t warn you.
1 TBSP peanut butter
1 TSP sugar
1 TBSP dark chocolate chips
1/4 TSP vanilla
1 serving (6 oz) plain Greek yogurt
Mix all together. It suggested freezing for 30 minutes to make it more like ice cream.
