Strawberry Ice Cream Bread


This was interesting for two reasons — first the name, second it was so ridiculously simple, I couldn’t not try it.

Three quick notes –

1) It takes ice cream longer to fully melt than you think.
2) Use a smaller bread pan (I used a 9×5).
3) Check it every so often. It only took me about 43 minutes to bake it. Might take longer in a smaller pan.

Tastes pretty good too (then again it is made with ice cream).

I found the recipe online, some article that had recipes with less than 5 ingredients.

3 cups melted strawberry ice cream
2 1/4 cups self-rising flour

Mix together, pour in bread pan and bake for 60 minutes at 350 degrees.

It does mention the ability to use other ice cream flavors for other flavors of bread but I’m not sure.
