I had some leftover apples (see previous post) and decided that apple crisp was the easiest thing to make, given the amount of apples I had (which wasn’t a lot). I finally settled on this recipe as the topping sounded the best. Although I didn’t have as many apples as this recipe called for I made all of the topping and eyeballed it to cover the apples I had. I made sure that all the butter pieces were in there and got rid of the rest of the topping.
It was really good. The topping did harden (especially after putting it in the fridge) but softened nicely warming it up in the microwave.
