I had never tried gnocchi before but since this was a Johnsonville recipe I decided to try it. I used vacuum packed, mini gnocchi as that was all I could find at the store I was at. It might have been worked better with larger gnocchi as the pesto seemed to coat it more than what the picture showed on the recipe. Then again, mine never really looks like the picture. Since it is off season for the snap peas, I used a package of frozen snap peas. I had also considered making my own pesto but it seemed like too much so I used a jar.
