Cajun Country Slow Cooker Ribs

I’m torn on using the slow cooker (crock pot) for ribs.  I’ve tried it a few times and while it produces amazingly tender, fall off the bone (literally) ribs, it seems to create more of a mess.  In this instance, I wound up pulling it out of the crock pot, taking all the bones out and just eating the meat.  Didn’t really feel like I was eating ribs.  Just a bunch of slow cooked pork.  But, it was a good recipe.  I did use 1 rack of St. Louis style ribs, but apart.

8 bone-in country style pork ribs (about 8 oz each)
1 cup ketcup
1 cup honey bbq sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
1 TBSP balsamic vinegar
1 TBSP molasses
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 TBSP dried minced onion
1 TSP Cajun seasoning
1 TSP ground mustard
1/2 TSP salt
1/4 TSP pepper

Combine all ingredients and pour over the ribs in the slow cooker.  Cover, set to cook for 6 or 7 hours on low or until ribs are nice and tender.
